Vienna
The capital of Austria, the spectacular city of Vienna is easy to explore.
In its romantic setting on the River Danube, this is one of Europe’s
great cultural centers with a Mediterranean atmosphere. Museums and palaces,
antique shops in cobbled streets and coffee houses with chocolate, all
surrounded by vineyards and the romantic Vienna woods.
Famous for its imperialistic history, having been the hub of the Austro-Hungarian Empire it is a city full of impressive monumental architecture, with the magnificent Imperial Palace (Hofburg) and Schloss Schönbrunn, but not forgetting Vienna’s choir boys in sailor suits and dancing horses, all lavish reminders of the golden age of Vienna.
Vienna is certainly a thoroughly cosmopolitan city that can offer a friendly, laid back atmosphere, where you will find all the necessities of modern twenty-first-century living.

- The museums quarter is one of the largest cultural complexes in the
world and though it is one of the many modern developments to have sprung
up, the buildings have been carefully designed to ensure that Vienna's
charm and character is fully preserved for the future.
- Most of the sights are concentrated in the Inner City, much of which
is a pedestrian zone. It is here that you'll find the Imperial Palace,
St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Opera House, Art History museum, and the
Natural History Museum.
- The Spanish Riding School, Vienna’s famous riding school with its world famous dancing Lipizzaner's can also be found in the city.
Vienna has first-rate public transport which is fast, clean, safe and easy to use. The transport systems available include both a subway and tram system and buses. But by far the best way to tour Vienna’s major sights is on foot, by bicycle or even horse-drawn carriage, which the kids will love.
Visit Vienna and be amazed by its amazing history, culture, art and buildings, not to mention its shopping areas that are full of designer shops and chic boutiques. that it is a gastronomic paradise! There's enough there to keep you satisfied, amused and entertained for a decent breakaway. Even the children can have some fun at the Prater amusement park, where they can take a ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel.
