The best way to get to Paris is on the Eurostar from Waterloo straight in to Paris Gare de Nord. This station links directly to the metro or you can pick up a taxi outside to get to your hotel. You can also take a flight to Charles de Gaulle or Roissy, served by regular RER train. Allow about 45 minutes to get to the centre of Paris.
