Barcelona
Barcelona is Spain’s second largest city and the capital of Catelonia.
The city brims with life and energy, and is characterised by the unique
Gaudi architecture. It has wide continental boulevards for wonderful evening
strolls, great food and art. It’s great for the family as it has
the city to explore and the beach nearby. The Spanish people are very welcoming
and fond of children.
Must see and do:
- Explore Las Ramblas – the main boulevard that runs from the seafront.
- Stroll along the promenade at the city’s beaches.
- Visit the Picasso Museum.
- Look out for the Gaudi architecture as you walk around the city and its parks.
- Walk around the Gothic Quarter – a maze of streets and squares
- Try tapas in a local bar – very child friendly and don’t forget to try the Jamon Serrano – thin slices of the best cured jamon
