There is just something about waking up to the smell of bacon and eggs camping style that brings a family together. Children
The children get to learn a whole new way of life away from their normal routine. Cooking breakfast on the stove, making camp fires (if allowed and under supervision!), playing games, entertaining themselves and adventuring in the open spaces. It’s a real lesson in self-sufficiency and the simple pleasures of life. There are usually lots of other children around and about – eager to make friends and explore.
