Venetian Riviera
The Venetian Riviera is on Italy’s north eastern coast. It is group
of islands with sandy beaches set in a lagoon – and home to Venice – a
fabulous Italian city. You can stay in Venice itself if you
wish or on one
of the many islands in the lagoon. The key resort is Lido di Jesolo – a
bustling modern place which is ideal for sunbathing and swimming. There is
much to do and great food – polenta is the local dish.

- Visit Venice itself – the Grand Canal, Bridge of Sighs and Basilica of St Mark
- Shopping in Venice – don’t miss the Rialto colourful market
- Trips to Lake Garda, Verona, Florence and the Dolomites are possible
- There is a waterpark called Aqualandia – it also has mini-golf and volleyball
Lido di Jesolo has golden sand beach and a lively nightlife. The resort
has a huge choice of family orientated activities – you won’t
be disappointed. It is a modern purpose built resort – with good shops,
bars and restaurants. The waters are safe, shallow and calm – great
for children.
