Neapolitan Riviera
Italy has great food, great designer shops and a great sense of style. The Neapolitan Riviera holds to this tradition. The Bay of Naples is home of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. The amazing journey from Naples to the Sorrento Peninsula is breathtaking – with panoramic views of mountains and the azure waters. You can do some great shopping, and don’t forget to try a pizza in its home town.
Things to do:- Visit Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius

- Take a boat trip to the island of Capri
- Hire a car and venture from Sorrento to Amalfi – taking in Positano on the way
Sorrento is a lively and vibrant tree-shaded resort in the Bay of Naples. The harbour has beautiful views and great restaurants. The Piazza Tasso offers the typically Italian café culture and busting shops. The cliff side hotels provide stunning views of the bay and Mount Vesuvius. If you want to swim and relax in the sun – the town has sunbathing platforms at the foot of the hills.
Amalfi provides some of the most stunning scenery in Southern Italy. The town itself is historic. Positano is nearby, with its maze of streets and alleys – full of cafes and boutiques. The best beach is at Little Maiori, it has dark volcanic sand. It’s a crowded place in July and August – the costal roads are slow moving – so be prepared.
Ishia is an island across the water from Naples. It has pine forests, citrus
groves and vineyards. You can find hot springs and thermal baths on the island
and in hotels. The island has a good standard of hotels and a quiet nightlife.
