Costa del Sol
Andulicia really is Spain at its most exuberant. It is the home of the flamenco
and the bullfight, and those wild and extravagant clichés of the Spanish
South. These really do exist and can be absorbed at one of the hundreds of
annual fiestas, ferias and romerias. It has Moorish towns and sleepy villages,
perched on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada. Averaging 300 days of sunshine
a year, it’s little wonder that the Costa del Sol is widely acknowledged
as the playground of Europe.
The Costa del Sol stretches along just over 150 kilometres of the province
of Málaga and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. There
are bags of beautiful sandy beaches to enjoy and fantastic weather which have
been attracting British guests year after year to resorts like Torremolinos,
Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella.
The Costa del Sol caters for young and old alike, offering a host of entertainment
choices for the native and visitor alike. Places to visit include its tropical
gardens, two Moorish castles, cliff-top Nerja, and the remarkable Ronda, which
is spectacularly sited above a deep gorge. Further afield you will find the
Alhambra Palcae, the Rock of Gibralter and charming Cadiz.

Marbella, at the foot of the Sierra Mijas Mountains, and offers a terrific
range of entertainment for children and adults looking for an active holiday.

sporting activities and off course a great variety of bars and nightlife. It
